Gary Pettus

DIRECTOR OF THE BOARD/SENIOR MASTER ELECTRICIAN

Founded in the early 1980s, Gary built the company that would become what is known as K-D Electric. Beginning with restaurant and fast-food projects, he steadily expanded into larger commercial and municipal work. Through decades of change within the construction industry, Gary established a company recognized for reliability, adaptability and long-standing client relationships. His leadership helped shape a business built to meet the evolving demands of commercial construction while maintaining the standards and work ethic the company was founded on. Today, Gary has transitioned into a less demanding role and continues to serve as Director, helping preserve the values, professionalism, and commitment to quality that have made K-D Electric a respected name in the industry.

Zac Pettus

President/Master Electrician

Beginning his career in the 1990s, Zac worked his way up through the trade from helper to Master Electrician, gaining extensive hands-on experience across restaurants, fast-food, municipal projects, and fire stations. His field knowledge, combined with a natural understanding of emerging technology, positioned him to adapt quickly to the ever-changing ways of construction and systems integration. In the early 2000s, Zac advanced into the role of President and Master Electrician for K-D Electric. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, sustainable growth, and delivering long-term value to clients and project partners. Known for combining practical field experience with forward-thinking innovation, Zac continues to help guide the company toward modern solutions while maintaining the standards and reliability the business was built on.

Zeb Pettus

Vice President / Project Manager

Zeb joined the family business in 2002. Starting out, he focused on gaining hands-on field experience, building a strong foundation in the company’s core operations. He later advanced into the role of Estimator, where he developed a keen understanding of project planning and cost analysis. Today, Zeb serves as Project Manager, providing operational leadership across all phases of project delivery. He works closely with field crews, ensures successful project execution, and plays a key role in fostering and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Zeb values quality time with his family. He is a devoted father, and his three daughters are a constant source of pride and joy, inspiring his strong commitment to both his work and personal life.

David Sturlic

Estimator

David joined our team in 2012 as a Journeyman, quickly distinguishing himself through his dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence. Over the years, he has progressed through key roles, including Project Manager and Estimator, consistently demonstrating an exceptional ability to balance precision with strategic insight. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering focus make him the ideal professional to ensure our bids are both accurate and highly competitive, delivering value and confidence to our partners. Beyond his professional accomplishments, David is passionate about embracing life’s experiences. He enjoys attending live music events, immersing himself in vibrant cultural moments, and exploring the outdoors through hiking, reflecting his love for both adventure and the natural world. His curiosity and enthusiasm carry through both his work and personal pursuits, making him a dynamic and valued member of our team.

Crystal Frye

Office Manager

Crystal joined the team in 2023 as Office Manager, bringing with her a diverse professional background in board game manufacturing. Since then, she has expanded her role to encompass both accounting and human resources, becoming an integral part of the company’s administrative and operational functions. Her attention to detail, organizational expertise, and adaptability contribute significantly to the efficiency and cohesion of the team. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys attending live music events, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and spending time with animals, reflecting her vibrant and well-rounded personality.

Krystal Zamudio

Office/ Project Assistant

Beginning in 2024, Krystal joined K-D Electric as an Office Assistant and quickly advanced into the vital role of Operations Assistant Coordinator. Through her reliability, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, she has become an integral part of the company's daily operations and continued growth. Krystal provides essential administrative and operational support while helping maintain clear communication and coordination across all areas of the business. Her professionalism, strong organization skills, and commitment to teamwork contribute greatly to the overall efficiency and success of the company. Grounded in strong family and personal values, Krystal brings consistency, integrity, and a positive approach to every aspect of her work.

Jason Bowen

Facility Logistics Manager

Jason began his electrical career in 2016, working on high-end residential projects where he developed strong technical skills and attention to detail. In 2022, he joined K-D Electric as an electrical apprentice and quickly demonstrated initiative, reliability, and strong organizational ability. Recognizing these strengths, the company promoted him into the role of Facility and Logistics Manager, where he plays a key part in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations. In his role, Jason has helped optimize warehouse organization, oversee facility equipment, and develop a warehouse management system tailored to the company's operational needs. His forward-thinking approach and commitment to efficiency continue to support both field productivity and long-term organizational success. Kown for being insightful, dependable, and solution-oriented, Jason brings a reliable presence and strong sense of accountability to the team every day.
